Signed "Johnson Patent 1888," a swivel desk armchair is solid quarter sawn oak with a new saddle leather seat.
Reglued to serve another generation, this antique office or library desk chair has an excellent deep restored finish, enhancing the "press carved" back. Lumbar spindles are comfortably curved. The original cast iron swivel mechanism has adjustable tilt and height. Ball bearing wheels are replacements.
Measurements are 22" wide, 24" deep, 46 1/2" tall and the seat is 20" high as shown, adjustable upward.
