A Victorian period bedroom set includes a queen size bed, a single nightstand, and a dresser with a swivel mirror. This set was crafted for the Paine family, the parents of Nathan Paine, founder of the Paine Arts Center in Oshkosh, WI. Their portrait is included with the furniture set.
- American antique furniture hand-crafted in 1888
- Stunningly carved mahogany with a sunburst crest
- Old varnish on bed has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish
- Top surface on dresser & nightstand have been refinished for durability. The rest of the old varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish.
- Minor dings, mars, losses, & shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Brass hardware is original
- Drawers have dovetail joints
- Working locks and key
- Removable & swivel beveled chest mirror has a bit of "smoke" for antique character
- Wood cross supports included as shown
- Bed setup is not included
Bed size is 88" long, 67" wide with headboard 72" tall and footboard 36" tall. Slats sit 9" from ground and the demonstrator mattress is 16" thick.
Dresser size is 41" wide, 23" deep, and 77" tall.
Nightstand size is 21" wide, 16" deep, and 32" tall.
