A true partner's desk with opposite drawers for each "partner" is English "campaign" furniture, with flat sides, brass edges and recessed hardware to protect this 1900 era military officer's furniture on field campaigns.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on genuine yew wood, preserving stains and mars for antique character, see photos. Three panels of tooled leather have stains and warm patina.
Drawers have solid oak sides with hand cut dovetail joints. For easy moving, this desk is three stacking pieces. One lock is signed, "Hobbs & Co, London." Doors have raised panels and working locks, drawers have no keys.
Dimensions are 59" wide, 41" deep and 31" tall, kneeholes are almost 25" x 25."
