Georgian Dining Set 11' Oval Sunburst Table 10 Chair

This traditional mahogany dining set in the elegant Georgian style includes an oval banded table with a "sunburst" grain top and 10 carved solid mahogany chairs.

The table is said to be from Henredon's St. Regis collection, but is not signed and we cannot be certain. The opulent banding is rosewood, tulipwood and ebony and the top is 1 1/4" thick. Both carved mahogany pedestals have brass feet.

This set is almost new, used only for display, never for dining. Two 24" wide leaves fit and match exactly, and have aprons as does the table. Size is 51" wide, 29" tall, length closed is 7'2" long, and with both leaves in place, length is 11'2" total.

Ten pierced and hand carved chairs are solid mahogany with graceful lines and large seats, 21" high, that are easily re-covered if desired. Rungs between the legs are for added strength. The two armchairs are 26" wide, 23" deep and 41" tall, the 8 side chairs measure 22" wide, 23" deep and 41" tall. All chairs and the table are completely solid, and this set is exceptional in every way. Additional side chairs may be available at $300 each.
