A four drawer quarter sawn oak file cabinet is signed on original cast bronze hardware, "Remington Rand, Library Bureau." Paneled on all four sides, these superior quality cabinets were furnished by the Andrew Carnegie Foundation to libraries across the country.
Dating from about 1915, the standard letter size drawers all slide smoothly and have label holders and adjustable file rests inside.
Crafted of richly grained quarter sawn oak, the deep rich brown finish is excellent. This antique American office furniture measures 18" wide, 28" deep and 52" tall.
