Antique Marshall Field Executive Walnut Burl Desk

Dating from about 1920, this exceptionally well crafted executive desk has gorgeous matched walnut burl. The finish is in excellent condition with warm patina, and the gleaming walnut has beautiful grain - see photos.

Deep drawers have dovetailed joints and fit well, they are finished inside, some have adjustable dividers. There is a deep file drawer and pull- out shelves for extra workspace. Sculpted and arched moldings are distinctive on all sides.

This is very fine antique American furniture, signed by famed department store "Marshall Field of Chicago" and original maker, "Dolen Dunton Desk Co, Connecticut."

Measurements are 6' long, 38" deep and 31" tall. The generous kneehole is 30 1/2" wide and 25" tall.
