This wonderful barrel or street piano was operated with a crank, and was traditionally played for tips, often with the help of a pet monkey.
- 1940s vintage crank piano signed "Vicente Llinares Faventia" of Barcelona, Spain,
- Grain-painted wood with some wear
- Also called a "hurdy gurdy"
- Original finish in very fine condition, preserving minor mars, losses to paint, & shrinkage separations - see photos
- Nickel hardware is original
- Tuned as best we can, drum plays six folk songs, triangle and castanet effects
- Piano does remove from cart which was often pulled by a small goat
Size is 49" wide, 21" deep and 31" tall.
