Art Nouveau 1900 Antique Ansonia Clock
The curving case of this evocative clock is truly the definition of Art Nouveau design from the age of Tiffany and Galle about 1900.
Signed by famous maker, "Ansonia of New York," the original patinated finish is beautiful with just enough wear for a little character, see photos.
The 8 day brass movement has been cleaned and oiled, it keeps excellent time with a bell strike on the hour and half. There are tiny chips to the beveled glass, the hand painted porcelain dial is intact. The young lady in a diaphanous gown is a work of art.
Measurements of this American made clock are 11" wide, 8" deep and 16" tall.
