Baldwin 1962 Carved Art Case 5' 7" Grand Piano & Bench
A gorgeous carved art case grand piano from 1962 is signed by famous maker "Baldwin." This piano has a richly figured golden walnut original polished finish in extremely fine condition with some fine scratches and crazing or crackling from age - see photos. The cherry bench has similar design.
This beautiful musical instrument is in superb playing condition, the sound board is intact and the action is firm and responsive, this piano was played very little. Tone is as warm and resonant as expected from a vintage Baldwin with a rich deep bass. The lid has supports for two raised positions. Entirely original, the brass wheels, pedals and hinges are all intact.
Measurements are 58" wide, 5' 7" long and 39" tall with the lid closed. Bench size is 30" long, 14" deep and 18" tall, there is music storage underneath.
