Hand crafted about 1900 by a carpenter to hold his tools, this solid quarter sawn oak wall cabinet could also be a bar chest. The old finish is very well preserved and has been waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain its warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
Hand cut dovetail joints at the corners are beautiful on this American made antique furniture. The lock has no key. Useful whether wall mounted or set on a counter, some shelves have holes for carving tools. When set on a counter, it is heavy enough that it takes effort to open and close.
Size is 24" wide, 36" tall and almost 12" deep when closed, open width is 4.'
