Chinese 4 Panel Coromandel Lacquer Screen

A genuine "Coromandel" Chinese screen has countless layers of colored lacquer, topped in black, then hand carved to the colored layers underneath.

Hand made artistry has one side with subtly toned birds, lilies and foliage, the reverse side is songbirds in a golden bronze hue. There are various touchups and repairs to this vintage Asian work of art from about 40 years ago.

Each panel is 16" wide and 6' tall, when flat on a wall, width is 5' 4" wide, but in the usual accordion position as shown, width is about 4' overall.
