Country Pine 1840 Antique Primitive Bench, Settee or Settle, Lift Seat Storage
A long country pine bench, settee or settle was hand crafted about 1840, and has storage under the lift lid seat.
The finish is in excellent condition, preserving lots of traces of old paint, mars and wear for antique character. Said to be from Pennsylvania, this is strong and sturdy antique furniture. There are losses at the edges, see photos.
Size is 5' 10" long, 21" deep and 42 1/2" tall. The seat is 18" from the floor.
