Country Pine Primitive Bookshelf or Cabinet

Hand made with square nails about 1870, this picturesque country pine bookcase or open cabinet has great patina and a "secret" compartment under the bottom shelf.

The warm brown finish is very fine - there is lots of character - stains, separations and mars. Original wainscoting in the back, this rugged primitive antique furniture measures 33" wide, 13" deep and 5' 7" tall.
