A sideboard or server was carved of solid quarter sawn oak around 1910 in Holland. Signed by the maker in Amsterdam, it could be a wide TV console as well.
Richly detailed with three dimensional knight sculptures, drawers have hand cut dovetail joints. The top has been revarnished for durability, the base is original and very well preserved with warm antique patina.
It has been waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain the luster is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. Wood knobs are original, one has a loss, see photos.
Measurements of this fascinating Dutch cabinet are 53 1/2" wide, 21" deep and 31" tall.
