Empire Antique Parlor or Library Set Settee or Loveseat & Chair, Karpen #30183

An imposing Empire parlor set from about 1900 includes a mahogany settee or loveseat and armchair with recent tufted upholstery. This set is signed by famous Chicago luxury maker, "Karpen." There are small spots on the fabric, see photos.

The restored finish on the sweeping frames is in excellent condition, preserving just enough mars for a little antique character. Seats are soft and comfortable on this American made library furniture.

The settee measures 55" wide, 30" deep, 39" tall and the seat is 18" high, the chair is 30" wide.
