This authentic vintage mahogany French commode or three drawer chest has a green marble top. The bombe or convex sides and front have artistically inlaid marquetry of rosewood and satinwood. Heavy brass mounts are original, as are locks and key.

The richly grained marble is undamaged, and the gleaming finish is excellent. Drawers fit perfectly and have hand cut dovetails. This spectacular furniture was hand made about 1930. Dimensions are 30" wide, 29" deep and 32" tall.
