Immigrant Pine 1852 Antique Chest or Trunk, Coffee Table

Dated and signed "1852," this wonderful country pine immigrant chest or trunk would make a picturesque coffee table. Hand cut corner dovetails and hand planing marks are beautiful on this antique furniture from northern Europe.

Waxed and polished, it needs only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth to maintain its warm glowing patina. Inside is a compartment for valuables. The huge iron lock and key still work.

Dimensions are 46" long, 26" deep and 19" tall.
