Italian Marquetry Vintage Tea or Dessert Cart, Beverage Trolley, Chariot Motif

Expertly crafted in Italy with luscious marquetry, a tea or dessert trolley or beverage cart is in beautiful original condition. The top has an intricate inlaid design of a classical chariot and horses with a cherub.

Vintage furniture from about 25 years ago, the exquisite inlay work incorporates rosewood, burl, satinwood and tulip wood in remarkable floral patterns. The original finish has minor shrinkage cracks in the polished lacquer, see photos. Sides are drop leaves that can be raised for extra space.

Dimensions of this charming cart are 31" long, 29" tall and 19" wide with the drop leaves down, when raised, the trolley top is 37" diameter.
