Karpen Signed Art Nouveau Carved Faces Antique Parlor Set Chair, Loveseat #30549
An exquisite Art Nouveau period parlor set from about 1910 includes a loveseat and armchair with carved faces, signed by famous maker, "Karpen of Chicago." The flowing style reflects the artistry of Tiffany in the same era.
The original finish is very well preserved on solid mahogany with some wear and a few touchups, see photos. Frames are tight and strong, upholstery is new on this American made antique furniture.
The loveseat measures 46" wide, 27" deep, 38" tall and the seat is 18" high, the chair is 26" wide and 36" tall.
