Mahogany Dining Set 13' Table 14 Chippendale Chairs

This stately and elegant mahogany dining set includes 14 carved chairs and a table over 13' long. The table top is stellar. In the center are matched panels of flame grain mahogany, the banding around the edge joins satinwood, rosewood and ebony for gorgeous effect. Three leaves match exactly, and the top is a full inch thick with a reeded edge. Supported by three carved solid mahogany pedestals with brass feet, this table is completely stable and sturdy. Size is 30" tall, 54" wide, 7'4" long when closed, with all three 24" leaves in place, total length is 13'4" long.

The fourteen Chippendale design chairs have Marlborough legs, all hand carved in solid mahogany. There are soft cushions with neutral fabric, easily recovered to match any decor. Both arm chairs are 25" wide, 22" deep and 40" tall, the 12 side chairs are 23" wide, 21" deep and 39" tall, seats are 21" high.

This dining set, table and chairs, are a modern reproduction or replica of 18th Century Georgian or Federal Period furniture. These famous designs are prestigious classics, which are new or almost new from famous American table makers. Sometimes they are from designer showrooms, furniture trade shows, or custom order cancellations. Sets are offered at a price far less than furniture stores, and therefore the original signatures are removed by the makers. After carefully inspecting these traditional tables and fine chairs, they are polished as needed.
