New England Country Pine Grandfather Tall Case Clock
A wonderful American country pine tall case or grandfather clock dates from the early 1800's. The 8 day brass weight driven movement is a good runner. Professionally cleaned and oiled, it strikes the hour.
The iron dial appears original, but was hand painted again perhaps 75 years ago. Authentic antique furniture, the hand crafted case has wonderful warm patina with lots of character - mars and wear. The glass is old and wavy, and hand-made nail heads are visible.
Measurements are almost 21" wide, 12" deep and 6'10" tall.
