Nightstand, Antique 1880 Bedside or End Table & Jewelry Chest

The outside of this 1880 era antique looks like a typical nightstand, bedside or end table, but behind the door are two felt lined jewelry drawers.

Expertly made of mahogany, there are flame grain panels on front. The satiny finish is in excellent condition, finished even on the back.

The top has been revarnished for durability, the rest appears original. Waxed and polished, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its rich patina. There are minor stains and shrinkage separations for character as shown on this furniture from northern Europe.

Size is 16" wide, 15" deep and 30" tall.
