Oak Drop-front Secretary Desk 1940's 10 Drawers

Elegantly shaped drawer fronts accent this very well made oak drop-front secretary. The warm golden brown finish is excellent, and this desk is in excellent shape throughout. The cast brass hardware is original, and the work surface is supported on pull out arms. Inside are 7 small drawers with shaped fronts and dovetailed sides. Below are 3 large solid oak dovetailed drawers, with matching shaped fronts. Ample storage with traditional design characterizes this wonderful desk. Dimensions are 43" wide, 20" deep and 41" tall. The writing surface is 28 1/2" above the floor, and this desk dates from about 1940.
