Paine Georgian Chippendale Secretary Desk
Hand crafted of solid mahogany, a Georgian Chippendale design secretary desk is signed, "Paine Furniture Co., Boston."
The deep gleaming finish is excellent, heavy weight brasses are original. Drawers have fine hand-cut dovetai
led joints and solid mahogany sides. This is a masterful replica of an 18th Century original, hand made about 1900, authentic down to the dramatic ball-and-claw feet. Drawer fronts below have a graceful serpentine curve. The dropfront rests on pull out supports. Locks do not operate.
Dimensions of this traditional American antique furniture are 39" wide, 22" deep, 41" tall and the writing surface is 29" high.
