A magnificent pair of cast iron gates with eagles and Greek key grillwork were made for a Chicago bank about 1900. The black finish is worn and is accented in gold and verdigris on this stunning architectural salvage.
There is no mounting hardware, so these could be fitted with sturdy hinges and used as doors, hinged together as a screen or divider, or they could be mounted and displayed on a wall.
Size is 38 1/2" wide, about 2" deep and 88 1/2" tall.
More gates may be available, call or email for details.
