This genuine pair of carriage lamps was used either on a horse-drawn buggy or early automobile. Brass and tin with beveled glass and a red side light, these originally had kerosene burners, but they have been electrified.
Both are engraved in the brass mounts, "Indiana Lamp Co., No. 2, Gunnersville, Ind." One has a chip in the red side glass lens, the kerosene fonts are intact. Lamps date from around 1900, and are 11" tall.
