An opulent pair of French gilt bronze candelabra from the Second Empire period around 1860 has their original worn burnished genuine gold finish. One tiny finial is different and the bobeches are missing from both topmost candle holders, there is a little verdigris as well, see photos.
The fronts of the bases have floral mounts, so these palatial antiques were presumably intended for a marble mantel piece.
Measurements are 9" wide, 9" deep and 18" tall.
