Pine Wainscoting Printer's Type File Cabinet

Handmade about 1900 for an Oshkosh, WI printer's shop, this 15 drawer file held large heavy lead type and advertising logos. The identical drawers have label holders and hold contents up to 12" wide, 18" deep and up to about 1" tall.

Very ruggedly put together, the sides and back are pine wainscoting. The original finish is dark and stained with printers ink, there is lots of great character and patina, chips and mars. Size is 19" wide, 22" deep and 42" tall.
