A serious roulette wheel and table from around the 1920's is signed, "A. Ball and Bro., Chicago."
The hand painted wool felt has a few holes and stains, one covered by a football shaped coaster at the corner. Walnut with carved lion paw feet, the restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made gambling furniture. Original nickel wheels bolt the base securely together.
The roulette wheel turns smoothly, and has original bakelite and nickel mounts plus genuine rosewood and maple. There are slides underneath where there presumably was once a drawer for chips, now lost. A croupier's cane and a later plexiglass cover are included as shown.
Dimensions are 8' long, 43" wide and 32" tall, not including the raised removable wheel.
