Authentic American Empire period antiques from about 1835, a set of four carved mahogany game, dining or side chairs have graceful curves. There are various repairs to the classic lyre backs.
The silken finish is excellent, frames are strong and completely usable. Seats are repadded and newly covered in European tapestry. Saber legs are characteristic of the period.
Measurements of this serenely elegant furniture are 18" wide, 19" deep, 33" tall and seats are 19" high. One chair is 1" shorter or 32" tall.
