Set of 6 Carved Mahogany Shield Back Vintage Dining Chairs

An elegant set of six carved mahogany dining chairs from about 1950 have traditional shield backs with delicate swags and the three feather crest - this is the signature crest from the Prince of Wales.

The rich deep finish is in excellent condition with a few mars at the edges, see photos. Classic frames are strong and wiggle free, two host chairs have especially graceful arms. Wide and comfortable seats are newly upholstered.

American made vintage furniture, the four side chairs measure 21" wide, 23" deep, 38" tall and seats are 18" high. Arm chairs are 26" wide, 24" deep and 39" tall.
