Tuscan Italian Burl Bombe Chest or Commode
The country elegance of Tuscany is shown in this dramatic bombe or convex chest of drawers or commode. Golden brown olive ash burl is banded and hand-carved.
The finish is excellent, there are separations and irregularities that prove hand craftsmanship. Drawers have wooden pegs and dovetailed joints, hardware is original.
Italian antique furniture from the 1920's, dimensions are 44" wide, 18" deep and 31 1/2" tall.
