All original except for electrification, this 1911 latest patent gas newel post lamp could be hung as a pendant light.
The original etched glass "grape" motif shade is vented for gas, there is a cock or valve and chain to adjust the flame. Fitted with a modern strap, this solid brass antique fixture can be mounted directly to an electric box.
American made, length of this historic light fixture is 26" overall, there are no chains for adding length.
