Victorian Antique Walnut Mantel Clock, Angel Statues, Ansonia NY #32685
A Victorian period mantel clock was carved of solid walnut with burl panels and wavy original reverse painted glass and mirrors, signed "Ansonia of NY."
The restored finish is in excellent condition. Two angel statues, the dial and pendulum are nickel. American made, this clock dates from about 1880 and has a rather raucous alarm with a separate wind. Professionally cleaned and oiled, this antique keeps accurate time for a week on a winding and counts the hour on a bell.
Measurements are 16 1/2" wide, 5 1/2" deep and 24 1/2" tall.
