Victorian Pearl & Papier Mache Clock
A Victorian shelf or mantel clock has an original papier mache case in black lacquer with hand painting, mother-of-pearl inlay and worn gold leaf. An authentic antique from about 1870, the 8 day brass movement runs well, striking the hour with a gong. The dial has some touchup painting.
Size of this charming antique clock is 10 1/2" wide, 5" deep and almost 16" tall.
