Victorian Walnut Chest or Dresser, Marble Top, Secret Drawer, Signed Bruner NY
From the Victorian period about 1870, this opulent linen chest or dresser was hand carved of solid walnut with burl panels, and has a secret drawer. Inside is a stamp "Bruner & Moore, NY."
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. A shaped original marble top has some stains as shown, and has been polished and given a protective finish.
Carved pulls are original on the large drawers, which have hand cut dovetail joints. On the back is an old "Moving and Storage" label from Nashville, Tennessee.
Measurements are 49" wide, 23" deep and 33" tall.
