Hand crafted about 1910, this unsigned lamp with a leaded stained glass shade with tulip motif is attributed to Wilkinson by its distinctive cap and superior workmanship.
Elmer Wilkinson made these lamps in Brooklyn, NY from 1909 to 1915. There are numerous hairline cracks to the panes of opalescent and transparent glass, see photos.
The deeply embossed base of this antique light has a rich bronze color. Three pull chain sockets have been rewired with an authentic silk cord.
The 18" diameter shade is tight and rattle free, height is 23" overall.
