Signed by famous silversmith, "Reed and Barton," an exquisite silverplate tilting pitcher and stand is engraved "Pat. May 10, 1878."
This Victorian tableware shows exceptional artistry and hand engraving, the silver is in superb condition. There are soldered repairs to the interior sides of the elaborate stand which are a little loose but apparently secure, see photos.
Rich detailing and graceful design of this pitcher ensemble include beautiful lilies, daisies and claw feet. The base is bowl shaped to collect condensation and drips, inside the pitcher is an ice strainer at the spout.
Measurements of this elegant American made antique set are 12" wide and 20" tall.
