Carved 10' Architectural Salvage Fireplace Mantel, Beveled Mirror
At just over 10' tall, this richly carved fireplace mantel and surround from about 1895 has baronial scale.
Deeply sculpted of mahogany finished birch, the rich deep finish is excellent. The original wide beveled plate glass mirror has just enough antique "smoke" to be charming. Fluted columns have carved Ionic capitals. American made, this spectacular mantel is architectural salvage from a St. Louis mansion.
Graceful and beautifully proportioned, dimensions are 71" wide, 121" tall and 14" deep, the fire opening is 47 1/2" wide and 42" tall.
