Cast Iron late 1800's Apothecary or Drugstore Mortar & Pestle
This heavy weight cast iron mortar and pestle from the late 1800's was used in an apothecary or drugstore to grind medicine, herbal tea and spices.
This antique was made in America. The pestle is almost 7" long, the mortar is 6" diameter and 5 1/2" tall.
