A luxury model of the famous "Edison Diamond Disc" phonograph has gold plated mounts and an entirely original mahogany case, dating from around 1920.
The finish has appropriate "crazing" or fine crackling from age as shown. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm antique patina.
This wind up record player works beautifully, there is an automatic shut off, volume lever and speed control.
Record files below include an array of Edison 78 rpm thick records, which this machine plays. The key and locks still work on this American made antique.
Measurements are 22" wide, 24" deep and 51" tall.
