Signed "Puritan of Sheboygan, WI" and "Patented Jan 7, 1919," this stunning wind up phonograph or record player is in exceptional working condition. The head swivels, one side plays Edison and Pathe records, the other side Victor etc. Original instuctions are included.
The mahogany case has a dramatic bombe shape, sound comes from a horn mounted behind grillwork at the base.
The cabinet has an excellent restored finish. A tilting front door opens to record storage, with an array of Victor and Edison recordings included as shown. A rare signed "Puritan" record is also included.
The interior is all original with gold plated hardware, original decal, engraved plaques and the model name, "Artline." There are on/off, volume and speed controls on this high end American made antique furniture.
Size of this extraordinary "talking machine" phonograph is 22" wide, 25" deep and 45" tall.
