This 1915 era curved glass china or curio cabinet is hand carved and has original hand painted scenes and burnished gold finish.
Although it looks like it was made for a European palace, it is signed "GRM of Grand Rapids, Mich.," and was crafted by immigrant artisans. The finish and painting have a little wear and a few touchups, they are in remarkably fine condition. The original glass shelves have a few flakes at the edges.
Curved "bombe" lower panels are especially spectacular. The deeply carved crest is dramatic. Inside are glass shelves, the lower shelf has been recovered.
Measurements of this impressive American antique furniture are 33" wide, 20" deep and 6' tall.
