An outstanding antique roll top desk has beautiful grain and is signed with a bronze plaque around the keyhole, "Burnal, Kansas City, MO." This desk has finished panels on all sides and is made of spectacular matched quarter sawn oak. The rich deep brown finish is excellent, there are minor mars at the edges for a little character.
The "C" curve top slides smoothly, inside are tiny cubicles and drawers with original brass pulls. There are letter holders at both ends, brass feet are also original. This is very rugged furniture, with a file drawer and 2 pull out shelves for extra work space. Deep drawers have dovetailed joints.
Easily disassembled for moving, dimensions of this classic American furniture are 5' long, 38" deep, 41" tall, the top is 31" high, the kneehole is 24" wide and 25" high.
