Baker Signed Vintage Georgian Style Banded Mahogany Bachelor Chest or Dresser
Signed by famous maker, "Baker" about 60 years ago, this top quality Georgian design "bachelor's" chest is matched flame grain mahogany with inlaid rosewood banding.
American made vintage furniture, the serpentine front, embossed brasses and dovetailed solid oak drawers are authentic. The pull out shelf was traditionally where a landlady would serve a "bachelor" meals, in the days when men could not cook.
Size is 35 1/2" wide, 21" deep and 35 1/2" tall.
