A cast iron safe signed "Jacob Neilson & Co., Kobenhaven" or Copenhagen, Denmark, has its original hand painted "wood grain" finish, and dates from around 1900.
When the lower rosette is in the correct position, a cast iron flying goddess swings to expose a keyhole. The double throw lock has two turning positions to open this antique office furniture. There are touchups, mars and wear to the finish, see photos.
Size is 24" wide, 20" deep and 31" tall.
