Chinese Carved Rosewood Vintage Camphor Lined Chest
Entirely carved by hand in traditional style about 60 years ago, this Chinese chest is solid rosewood. The interior is lined with genuine aromatic camphor wood to resist moths and other insects, similar to cedar in the west.
Waxed and polished, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its rich luster. Sliding trays inside are teak, and the engraved brass lock is original.
Measurements are 36" wide, 20" deep and 40" tall when closed.
