Beautifully hand carved scenes of travelers returning home to their island decorate this traditional Chinese blanket chest or dowry trunk.
- 1950s vintage furniture made in China
- Carved camphor wood resists moths like cedar
- Original finish has been waxed and buffed, preserving minor mars. All that is needed to maintain the soft luster is an occasional wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
- Shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Patinated brass hardware is original
- Dovetail case
