Finely detailed during the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1870, a solid cherry bookcase has glass doors.
Tops have been re-varnished for durability, elsewhere the original finish is very well preserved. Waxed and polished, it needs only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth to maintain its glowing antique patina.
The base is a separate piece, two drawers have round pin and cove dovetails of the period.
Measurements are 43" wide, 19" deep and 5' 3" tall. The interior shelves are 11 1/2" deep.
