A splendid solid cherry hall mirror has its original ebonized finish - it may have been used as an etagere, curio display or dressing mirror. Brasses and beveled mirrors are all original from about 1870, locks are operational.
This imposing American furniture shows outstanding craftsmanship of the Victorian or Eastlake period, this design is also called "Aesthetic Movement."
The mirrors have some flaws from age, they could be resilvered if desired but are charming as they are - see photos. Sides have raised panels, there are separations from shrinkage and some wear to the finish, especially on the lower shelf.
Dimensions of this historic mirrored cabinet are 5' 4" wide, 15" deep and 7' 8" tall.
